People who design it, wear it and live it!

13 February 2019

In celebration of London Fashion Week this month, we’re encouraging a look towards your wardrobe or favourite fashion label for your home décor inspiration. We’ve decided to share a few of our fave colour-loving interior and fashion designers whose homes and wardrobes are equally vibrant!

Sophie Robinson – Interior designer, writer, and judge on BBC2’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, Sophie has admitted that she’s totally ‘bonkers for colour’. Her Instagram feed is full of wonderfully colourful images of her stunning home – and her outfits are just as joyfully playful.

Henry Holland – Man of the moment, Henry is currently one the UK’s hottest fashion designers. His ‘House of Holland’ fashion brand is colourful and quirky and his London home is an extension of what you see from his fashion label. His love of colour and cool designs has seen him collaborate with the likes of Habitat and The Hoxton Hotel, Holborn.

Vivien Westwood – World-renowned fashion designer, activist and businesswoman. Known for her vivacious and eclectic designs and her own high-spirited and original dress sense, Vivien has successfully collaborated with interior brands such as The Rug Company to create iconic pieces for the home.

Fearne Cotton – TV presenter and self-confessed lover of interiors, Fearne has launched her own homewares collections and has recently finished filming ‘Project Interiors’ a new BBC2 interior design competition series. Fearne’s easy-chic fashion style often sees her going big and bold with colour combos and in her home she confidently adds bursts of vibrancy to a neutral backdrop with colourful upholstered armchairs, rugs and pieces of furniture.

Emily Murray – Creator of the award-winning The Pink House blog, lifestyle journalist and book publisher, Emily is well known for her love of pink and this shines through in both in her home interiors and chic fashion style. We’re loving the ‘pinkspiration’, as you call it, Emily!

The interiors and fashion love affair is set to continue, with many more collaborations planned – so keep an eye on the catwalk as you will be seeing it influence your home design and not just your wardrobe.
